Child Labor

I've already got these kids earning their keep around the house. I tell them, "no workie, no foodie!" And they better do it with a smile on their face!

Actually, Corinne saw me cleaning and since she is my shadow, she says, "help me!" which translates to "I want to help you." Then Matthew sees what is going on and thinks it is a game and wants in on the action. Now if I can just get them to think cleaning toilets is fun...

Nora's blessing

Grandma and Grandpa Strong were able to come out for Nora's blessing on Feb 1. Here's Nora talking to Grandma after church. The kids loved having Grandma and Grandpa there to give them extra attention and read books to them. Too bad it was way too cold to go outside and play!

Fingerpainting

I decided to let the kids have some messy fun and got out some of Daddy's old shirts and the fingerpaint and let the kids have at it. I was hoping this activity could fill the morning hours but alas, it lasted no longer than 15 minutes. What a bummer! At least they had fun for the 15 minutes.

Helmet head

Corinne just had to try on Daddy's construction helmet and goggles!
