Ward Trunk or Treat

Our ward had a Trunk or Treat tonight that ended up having to move indoors into the church due to inclement weather. It made me kind of sad since I dressed my kids with lots of layers to protect against the cold. So they were plenty warm inside. So here is Corinne as a cheerleader and Matthew as Mr. Incredible.

Matthew saw the other kids laying down to eat the donuts of the string and decided he wanted a try too.
Matthew kind of cheated and used his hands. I guess it's okay since he's only 3 and the other kids finished way before him anyways.

Here's Matthew fishing for toys. He and Corinne both got pinwheels and they loved them! Now we're excited and prepared for Halloween on Friday!

Jeremy's Home!

Jeremy surprised me early Monday morning with a text message telling me to be at a certain place at a certain time to watch his boat float by. Here's a few pictures of the submarine floating down the Thames in New London, CT. Jeremy's on the very top part which is called the sail.

Here's a view to give you an idea of how long the boat is. He was able to come home a few hours later but I didn't get to see him for a few hours after that since I was stuck in the dr. office for 3 hours getting a non-stress test and an ultrasound. And everything is fine! We love having Daddy back!

Fun Fall Pictures

We took a walk on Sunday to get a small view of the beautiful fall foliage going on here in New England. I know many of you may never get to experience fall in New England, so enjoy this small glimpse! And, of course, Mr. Photogenic, aka Matthew.

Boston Temple

Yesterday we had a ward temple trip to the Boston temple. It was a beautiful day and you can even see some of the pretty fall colors in the trees.
Since Jeremy's still gone, I went with my parents. The youth of the ward were available to watch the kids at a nearby church to allow the adults to attend. Here's me with the kids showing off my bump of 35 weeks. Enjoy the picture--I don't do many pregnancy pics.

Grandparents come!

We have been looking forward to having Grandma and Grandpa Strong come to visit. Corinne warmed up to them surprisingly fast and both have enjoyed monopolizing their attention.
One of the kids favorite things is to read books so it's a good thing that Grandpa and Grandma are so good at reading them!
This time it was Grandma's turn to read the book.

And we love helping Grandma make apple cake! Especially when we get to help lick the beaters! Mmmmm!
