Providence, RI Zoo

Today we ventured the hour drive to Providence, RI to go to the Roger Williams Zoo which is the closest zoo to us. Matthew loved running to all of the animal exhibits to find the next animal. Here's Corinne chillin' while watching the flamingos.
Matthew had to climb on every statue he saw. Here he is on the dog...
on the camel...
both of them on the frogs...
A Covergirl shot of Corinne

It was nice that you could get a close view of the giraffes.
Matthew enjoyed watching this turtle. He must be related to his daddy! Turtles are Jeremy's favorite animal to see at the zoos.
They were giving the elephants a bath while we watched.

...and on the caterpillar. We had such a fun morning and the kids both fell asleep for the drive home!

Zoos are fun and so are you and your family! They're too cute!

Looks like you have done a good job keeping busy while Jeremy is away. It makes time go by much faster and you find yourself able to handle the kids a little more. Matthew is so big now and little Corrine is not so little anymore. I hope the big bed transition goes well. We miss the East coast, you know if we were neighbors again, I'd go with you to all your outings! :) Hope you are feeling well too!

Is it funny to anyone else that of all the zoo animals, turtles are the family favorite? ;)

P.S. I tagged you on my blog... you know, something to do in all your "single mom" free time.
